It was my first experience to work as an intern. I was very happy to work with PEF and I'm faithful to be a part of this team. As an intern, I got this wonderful experience to watch the journey of PEF, and get to conduct so many sessions and attend a lot of activities. I met some amazing people throughout this journey and I learnt many things from them and this place. I'm more than happy to be a part of Planet Earth Foundation."

"My internship with PEF is one of my most favourite internships! It was really special and close to me because it was my first ever internship as wildlife pursuing student. I learnt many things, boosted up my self-confidence and created some good memories. The entire PEF team was really helpful, kind and friendly towards me, and they treated me as if I belonged to them. The duration was of two months and I miss those days and am willing to work with them in the near future whenever I get the opportunity!"

“TELL ME, AND I WILL FORGET. SHOW ME, AND I MAY REMEMBER. INVOLVE ME, AND I WILL UNDERSTAND. I had an amazing opportunity to serve as a full-time intern for Planet Earth Foundation. Even with the pivot, I couldn't have asked for a more rewarding experience. I am extremely grateful for the hands-on experience in the field of environmental science and for the number of contacts I made over a month. It challenged me in so many ways. I always recommend an internship with PEF to anyone who is looking to change career or studying.  Doing an internship was one of the best decisions I have made, both professionally and personally and is an experience that I will cherish and value forever."

"I joined as an intern in the Public Biodiversity Report to assist in data collection and surveys. We entered data of all the medicinal plants, herbs, etc. of Palus village and interacted with the local people, surveyed the village market etc. We also got an opportunity to analyze and enter the cases of Human-Animal conflict. We got to know about different varieties of plants found in the area, and the birding trips gave an insight into the birds found in the area (Shirala). It was indeed a knowledgeable experience with the PEF which imbibed more inquisitiveness in me to learn and observe more about the organisms present in and around human habitation. The volunteering ended with a trip to Chandoli National Park (wildlife safari) with the PEF Team. The team was indeed supportive and explained about the flora and fauna of the Park. I'm thankful to the team for the support and care shown and for sharing knowledge."

"My internship with Planet Earth Foundation was quite different from the other internships I had done. It was my first internship where I also did social surveys and understood the various perceptions people had regarding the biodiversity around them. I understood the importance of people in the conservation of our biodiversity. PEF team is very friendly and supportive and working with them was a delight. My time with the PEF team was a short one but returned with a boat full of knowledge and memories. Thank you for having me as an intern and would love to work with you soon again."

"I was a student with little to no knowledge about internships or surveys and the team at PEF were really helpful. I felt right at home with no problem of food and accommodation. The people are very nice, and I learned a lot. The language barrier might be a problem to talk with the community but the officials have no problem communicating. In the end, I enjoyed a lot and learned more than I could I ask for."
